This project involved designing and providing a custom steel grating solution for highway bridge piers. The client required a robust and aesthetically pleasing grating system that could meet the heavy-duty demands of both maintenance personnel and equipment while also ensuring ease of installation in a high-altitude environment. The unique shape of the bridge piers—consisting of a rectangular center with semi-circular sides—presented challenges in both design and material optimization. Our team worked closely with the client to develop a tailored solution that balanced functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
· Weight Support for Personnel and Equipment: The grating needed to accommodate the weight of both maintenance workers and heavy machinery, ensuring safety and durability over the long term.
